Calm Birth teacher training courses are accessible, evidence-based, and practice-oriented. We cover the scientific and spiritual roots of the practices, establish a meditation practice for ourselves, and get practice and feedback in teaching the techniques.

The course is self-paced over the course of eight weeks. Mentors are available via email and phone as needed.

After you’ve completed your training, you will be able to teach Calm Birth in your community. You’ll also be able to practice these techniques to enhance your own wellbeing.

Qualifications: Most teachers of the Calm Birth® method are childbirth professionals – labor and delivery nurses, midwives, doctors, doulas, and childbirth educators. We will train anyone we believe could be a good teacher of childbirth meditation or who wants to learn meditation for the sake of their own health and life.
